AgroLink’s field agents were listing farm produce on behalf of farmers via phone calls — a bottleneck that capped the platform at a few hundred listings.
We designed the lightest possible listing flow: agents onboard farmers, and farmers update quantity and price by structured SMS which the platform parses and applies. Buyers browse a fast, image-light catalogue filterable by crop, grade, quantity and pickup state, then place deposits through Paystack with the balance settled on delivery confirmation.
Active listings grew from 300 to over 1,200 in one season, and the average time from harvest to committed buyer dropped from nine days to three.
