LagosRide runs 180 dispatch riders across mainland and island routes, but bookings were arriving by WhatsApp voice note. Addresses were mistyped, riders were double-assigned, and no customer ever knew where their package actually was.
We delivered a booking platform with Google Maps address autocomplete tuned for Nigerian address formats, distance-banded pricing that quotes instantly, Paystack checkout, and a live tracking page each customer receives by SMS. The operations team got a dispatch board with drag-to-assign and per-rider daily manifests.
Average booking time fell from eleven minutes of chat back-and-forth to 90 seconds of self-service, and failed-delivery rates dropped by a third once address quality improved.
